Management Accountant - Film
Award winning international Film business are looking for a Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Management Accountant to join their highly successful finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Calculate, prepare and post month end adjustments and provide P&L, cash flow, and KPI variance analysis and commentaries.
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
* Maintain asset registers and post monthly interest and depreciation.
* Liaise with group companies to prepare and post intercompany recharges.
* Support UK film productions, including the setup of SPVs and liaison with production accountants.
* Assisting AR to ensure invoicing and cash collection are up to date.
* Perform VAT checks and preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
* Assist with the statutory and grant audit process.
* Maintenance of group reporting tools and active support of system developments and implementations.
* Ad-hoc projects/reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
* More than 50% through a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
* 2+ years' experience in a finance role
* Excellent Excel skills including nested formulas, vlookups, pivot tables & sumifs
* Proactive and organized with a strong ability to meet deadlines
* Positive attitude with a keen attention to detail
* Experience using SAP ERP or similar accounting software
* Passion for the film industry and regular interaction with content
