We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist dentists during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and contribute to a positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide high-quality patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations at all times.
* Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.
* Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a seamless workflow within the practice.
* Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and maintaining inventory.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting; previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential.
* Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications that demonstrate your capability in providing dental care support.
* Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
