AUTOMOTIVE Development Trimmer - 35958310 - £38.42/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do
* Create and develop seat patterns, ensuring exceptional quality and precision.
* Sew and assemble components using advanced machine sewing techniques.
* Work closely with technical specialists to deliver feasibility studies through physical seat prototypes.
* Trim full seats from patterning to finishing, ensuring functionality and aesthetic excellence.
* Collaborate on the development of seat functionality, including airbags, climate systems, and other engineering features.
* Interpret rendered designs, 3D CAD models, and technical drawings to bring concepts to life.
What You Will Bring
* Proven expertise in automotive patterning, particularly for seats.
* High-level machine sewing skills and experience working with materials such as leather, PVC, and textiles.
* Previous experience in an automotive design environment, with knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
* Strong understanding of mass production procedures and in-depth knowledge of textiles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and senior management.
