Location: Kingfisher Nursing Home, Emmanuel Lodge, College road, Cheshunt, EN8 9NQ
Hourly rate: £. per hour, plus a p p/h weekend enhancement
Hours: hours per week
Shifts: 8.am to 4.pm, covering 4 days over 7, must be flexible to work alternate weekends

About the Role:
11. Support residents with their morning meals, ensuring they have a positive start to their day
12. Identify residents' activity needs and wishes through discussion, assessment and observation, and produce a varied programme based on these findings
13. Explore the most appropriate methods and resources for meeting activity needs, including group events and individual sessions, involving internal and external sources and involving community-based resources
14. Organise theme and fund-raising events as required, based on local holidays, traditions, etc
15. Organise outings as appropriate, giving consideration to safety needs and staffing requirements
16. Manage monthly activity budgets for entertainment, materials and outings in accordance with Company procedures
17. Ensure risk assessments have been carried out on all activities and outings
18. Produce newsletters in accordance with the company newsletter procedure
19. Take photos of our residents around the home, create engaging content and update our social media pages on a daily basis
About you:

23. An understanding of emotional, social, physical, psychological and intellectual needs of vulnerable people
24. Ability to engage others in recreational activities
25. Previous experience in a similar position in a care home is desirable but not essential
