Your new role
As the Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for direct staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all payroll and benefits functions. You will manage data entry, payroll processing, and maintain detailed records for job costing and reporting. Additionally, you will oversee the administration of benefits, including pensions, private medical insurance, and group life assurance, as well as processing expenses.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally experience of payroll systems
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail for managing complex spreadsheets
Familiarity with UK payroll legislation, including SMP/SPP, pensions auto-enrolment, and P11D reporting
Excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with managers and external providers
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Experience with staff benefits administration and expense processing is highly desirable.
