About the role
The Marketing Automation Executive for Pet Drugs Online is responsible for defining and building complex, multi-step lifecycle flows that’s aligned to PDOL’s customer journeys and overall business goals.
With support from the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for leading on using and integrating data to facilitate trigger-based customer journey’s for Pet Drugs Online.
You will be required to monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues and regularly report against key KPIs.
On a day-to-day basis you will be working with the Marketing, Technology, Data and Commercial teams to maximise opportunities for growth in the CRM channel, ultimately driving customer retention.
The ideal candidate for this role has a background in email, data or technology. You will be process driven and excited by data and problem solving.
Responsibilities
* Design and build complex, multi-step automated customer journey flows in Emarsy’s
* Define and build advanced customer segmentations
* Collaborate with tech on the technical set-up and integration of Emarsy’s with other data sources
* Identify and troubleshoot performance issues related to automations and data flows
* Support with the rollout of integrated cross-channel campaigns through Emarsy’s SAP enabling more customer reach, personalisation and relevant experiences.
* Work with Emarsy’s when necessary to support new features roll out, troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Monitor and communicate any potential issues or problems that may affect the delivery or performance of automations
* Drive and recommend event-based triggers to support business performance
* Collaborate with wider-marketing team and commercial on opportunities to support key business growth areas, categories and trade performance
* Working closely with a Web Analyst to optimise automation dashboards and share performance insights regularly with stakeholders
* Develop a testing roadmap to continuously improve and optimise triggered campaigns performance
* Develop a user-friendly Figma board to document all automated customer journeys and creatives
* Ensure triggered communications are inline with brand guidelines and include the latest business related information.
* From time-to-time supporting newsletter marketing campaigns
Qualifications
* Experience with building and optimising email automations
* Technically adept and comfortable with data and integrations
* Experience with Google Analytics
