Role Overview
In a fast-paced environment, this role involves planning and scheduling job orders to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness while providing excellent service to customers. It requires teamwork and close liaison with all stakeholders to manage targets and workflows effectively. The Construction Supervisor will coordinate operations, manage direct labor and sub-contractors, and promote safety standards and protocols to ensure compliance. Success is measured by delivering contract work that meets client KPIs and internal targets within budget, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Duties
* Organize jobs for the operations team, review diaries, material requirements, and oversee daily operational aspects.
* Maintain Health and Safety standards, complete audits, report accidents, and deliver toolbox talks.
* Act as the central contact for Senior Managers and administrative personnel regarding service delivery queries.
* Communicate daily with operational Planners to ensure effective work planning and allocation of instructions to subcontractors or direct labor.
* Manage relations and performance of subcontractors, ensuring quality and standards are met.
* Monitor and present job progress at Daily Huddles, ensuring timely completion or requesting extensions when needed.
* Track rejected jobs, investigate reasons, and document notes.
* Analyze work instructions and SORs to ensure correct coding and valuation before sign-off.
* Attend meetings and provide accurate, up-to-date reporting information.
* Lead and direct operational teams, fostering accountability and adherence to processes.
* Conduct thorough Pre and Post Inspection Surveys, liaise with client Maintenance Officers, and ensure accurate updates via PDA (Accumobile) and Orchard systems.
* Support and train staff, including new hires.
* Perform other duties necessary for successful project delivery within the CFM workstream.
