We have an exciting opportunity for a Full time and a Part time Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Recovery team.
Previous recent recovery experience is preferred but not essential.
We are seeking an organised, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated nurse with post‑qualification experience of working in an acute care environment. A passion for providing excellence in patient care is essential. We expect applicants to demonstrate a keen interest and possess insight into post‑surgical care. Experience in post‑anaesthetic care is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Responsibilities
This post will involve some out of hour work, including a finish at 20:00, weekend and night shifts. The nurse will support the Department Deputy Leads and the Matron in maintaining an efficient and effective service, delivering safe patient care within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing healthcare needs.
Qualifications
* Band 5 Staff Nurse qualification.
* Experience in an acute care environment.
* Organised, flexible, enthusiastic and motivated.
* Passion for providing excellence in patient care.
* Knowledge of post‑surgical care; interest and insight into post‑surgical care.
* Experience in post‑anaesthetic care is desirable.
