The Children and Family Wellbeing Service (CFW) is excited to offer opportunities for Neighbourhood Group Workers in Chorley. About the Role As a Neighbourhood Group Worker, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality group sessions and courses for children and families across our Family Hubs, schools, and community venues including: Early Years groups (age 0-5 sessions) Wellbeing, lifestyle, and school transition support for young people aged 5 to11. Deliver courses and interventions to parents including support with parenting strategies. Support for children with SEND and speech, language, and communication needs Plan, evaluate, and record sessions using our Management Information System Create informative handouts and visual displays Work collaboratively with schools, partners, and multi-agency teams to ensure families receive the right support at the right time. We’re seeking individuals who: Have experience working with children, young people, and families Are creative, adaptable, and confident in group delivery Are comfortable using IT systems and digital tools Are eager to learn and grow through training and development Flexible application of working hours to respond to service needs to work outside of core weekday/daytime hours.
