Hamilton Woods are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to support clients to live independently.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker:
1. Support residents to develop independent living skills and positive community links
2. Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
3. Prepare for and induct new residents, including pre-release assessments
4. Deliver and support structured activities, groups, and one-to-one key work
5. Contribute to risk management plans and report concerns or non-compliance
6. Monitor adherence to house rules and licence conditions, taking appropriate action
7. Manage daily access for residents, staff, and visitors
8. Liaise with probation, police, and community agencies
9. Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems
10. Conduct drug and alcohol testing when required
11. Follow medication procedures and administer Naloxone where necessary
12. Assist with room searches and safeguarding duties
13. Respond to emergencies and access medical assistance when required
