The position of Senior Pharmacy Technician - CPSD Team Leader will deputise for the Principal Technician - Purchasing, Supply & Logistics and will supervise up to two of the following areas:
* Purchasing Team
* Stores Team
* Accounts (Invoicing) Team
* Distribution Team
You will be responsible for:
* Supervising and managing the delivery of efficient day-to-day operations within the pharmacy purchasing, invoicing, stores, and distribution teams.
* Developing a working environment that encourages teamwork, mutual support, and service excellence while minimizing risks.
* Writing, updating, and implementing standard operating procedures aligned with governance requirements for pharmacy purchasing, invoicing, storage, and distribution.
* Ensuring compliance with the MHRA / Good Distribution Practice license terms for Pharmacy Stores and Distribution services.
* Delivering training for pharmacy staff involved in purchasing, invoicing, storage, and distribution of medicines.
* Supporting the Principal Technician in maintaining key performance targets and monitoring service quality.
