The Role:
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Production Operative, to join our Wearables and Leisure team based in Gosport.
Key responsibilities for the Production Operative role include but are not limited to:
* Supportsdesign& pattern teamsin contribution to the development of new product prototypes; adjusts machinery as needed and according to training - this may involve becoming certified or licensed as competent to operate or adjust that machinery
* Carries out operational tasks to Survitec standard, ensuring work is completed right first time and flagging any instances of variation or failure to meet standard
* Carries out installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete those allocated tasks
* Helps to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out standard preparation, inspection, or maintenance tasks, following strict, detailed instruction

About You:
Essential criteria:
* Educated to High School level with 2 GCSEs or equivalent
* Experience using a sewing machine and confident in your ability
* Some experience of operating complex machinery is desirable, but not necessary as full training is provided
