Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide high-level business support to the Talent Management Senior Practitioner, and wider Organisational Development Team, ensuring seamless coordination of projects and resources to develop and maintain robust systems and processes to support effective functions.
As Business Support Manager, the post holder will be expected to work autonomously to lead daily tasks and ongoing responsibilities, ensuring effective prioritisation of workload to achieve agreed objectives and meet project timeframes.
The post holder will use effective communication skills at all times and build professional working relationships with stakeholders.
The post holder will be expected to create, update and manage a range of databases and reporting elements as part of the role.

Qualifications And Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Degree in Business Administration or equivalent level of experience
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of recent CPD
* ILM 3 or equivalent

* Significant previous experience in informatics analysis, report writing
* Experience of administrative processes
* Experience of handling complex / sensitive issues
* Able to communicate with all levels of staff representatives and managers in a clear and confident manner
* Proficiency in clerical and administrative procedures
* Application of systems of work and organisational policy
* Good knowledge of MS Office/I.T. systems/Social Media
* Thorough understanding of administrative procedures
Desirable criteria
* Work across various disciplines within an NHS / public sector organisation
* Experience of project work
* Management of databases
