Collection & Delivery Manager
£40,457 per annum plus £3,222 London allowance, potential 15% bonus and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Attendance: Monday - Friday 11:00 - 19:00 – flexibility required.
About the role
Line manager to 27 delivery and collection drivers, including warehouse and self‑employed owner drives.
Drive depot performance through resource and contingency planning, ensuring quality of service, productivity, and high customer service satisfaction.
Lead the resolution of enquiries and complaints, maintaining the performance of the unit and overall safety of the team.
Collaborate closely with the local sales team to increase revenue opportunities and highlight any network conformance issues.
About you
* Background in express parcels with experience in a unionised environment
* Managing and supporting a large team to maximise performance, service and achieving KPI
* Drive high customer satisfaction by ensuring service quality and managing swift resolutions
* Ensure health & safety compliance across all night operations, maintaining a safe working environment
* Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members to work to high standards
* Experience of introducing improvements and successfully guiding people through significant periods of change
* Ability to build effective working relationships with your team, unions and key stakeholders
* Experience of managing resources and budgets
