What does a Teaching Assistant do?
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the classroom by:
* Supporting the class teacher with daily activities
* Helping children with their learning and development
* Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills
* Assisting with play-based learning in a fun, nurturing environment
* Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed

What skills are we looking for?
You don’t need to have worked in a school before! Many skills are transferable, such as:
* ️ Strong communication skills (especially in Welsh!)
* Patience, empathy, and a caring nature
* Ability to support and engage young children
* Teamwork and collaboration
* Experience in childcare, customer service, coaching, or care work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
