We're looking to recruit a Housing Officer with experience of Anti-Social Behaviour case management in Liverpool on a full-time, temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months, paying up to £ per hour with hybrid working.
Your new role
1. Managing own caseload of low to medium level ASB and tenancy breach cases including carrying out investigations, gathering evidence and preparing legal casework
2. Dealing with abandonments, relationship breakdowns, unauthorised occupation, tenancy fraud and dealing with failures to allow access
3. Attending apanied viewings with prospective tenants, carrying out tenancy audits, exchange inspections, tenancy reviews and attending evictions
4. Identifying customers at risk of tenancy failure, undertaking assessment of needs and implementing positive interventions or signposting to external support agencies to ensure tenancy sustainment
5. Prepare and serve notices for breaches of tenancy, attending evictions, issuing warnings and other early intervention tools to reduce risk
6. Responding to general enquiries orplaints from customers, stakeholders and local MPs
7. Discharging all legal, regulatory and insurance duties regarding properties within your portfolio
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience of managing housing stock and delivering key housing & tenancy management functions to customers
9. Experience of managing caseloads of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, gathering evidence, preparing legal casework
10. Good knowledge of housing legislation and best practice
11. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills with the ability tomunicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including vulnerable tenants
12. Driving licence with access to own vehicle with valid business insurance
