Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Outsourcing Services team in Southampton. The primary responsibility of the Technology Manager is to assist with the operations of our BOS Technology team and develop our client-facing proposition.
The technology team focuses on internal projects to maximize efficiency and provide staff with tools to deliver excellent client outcomes, including recent migration to new accounts production software.
Your role involves overseeing and delivering digital transformation projects, developing and marketing our client proposition centered on cloud advisory opportunities, including app stacks and migrating clients to top platforms. You will also manage a diverse client portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the scoping, procurement, and deployment of technologies for internal use and ensuring successful project delivery across the organization.
* Managing a diverse client portfolio.
* Identifying and developing opportunities for growth with current clients and preparing proposals for new work.
* Participating in marketing events and seminars as needed.
* Ensuring clients receive proactive and efficient service, exceeding expectations, and maintaining communication with client Partners and staff.
* Managing budgets, understanding the commercial aspects of clients’ businesses, and planning work schedules.
* Staying informed about compliance developments affecting clients.
* Organizing staff on projects, clarifying expectations, providing training and feedback, and balancing workloads.
Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or equivalent.
* Experience in cloud technology or business change projects within professional services.
* Knowledge of various cloud accounting applications and their appropriate use cases.
* Experience in business development, including proposal preparation and networking.
* Experience working with entrepreneurial, SME, and high-growth clients.
* Monitoring costs against budgets.
