About Our Client

A well-established and diversified group, operating across multiple sectors, is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and develop its sales function. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and shaping the organisation's sales strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives.The Head of Sales will be accountable for delivering commercial performance across the group's business divisions. This includes leading a team of sales professionals, building strategic client relationships, and developing a scalable sales framework that ensures sustainable growth. The successful candidate will combine proven sales leadership with strong commercial insight and the ability to operate at board level.

3. Define and execute the Group's sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
4. Identify new revenue streams, market opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
5. Build and maintain long-term client relationships at senior levels.
6. Work closely with the Board and divisional heads to align sales objectives with business priorities.
7. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform commercial decisions.
8. Implement robust sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting structures.
9. Champion the use of CRM systems and data-driven decision-making to improve pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.
10. Represent the Group externally at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations.

The Successful Applicant

11. Proven track record in Fit-Out, or Retail Equipment, M&E fit out, manufacturing install, etc
12. Experience working with large retailers, or commercial customers winning large projects
13. Experienced in Bids and Tenders
14. Strong people leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
15. Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
16. Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver hands-on results.
17. Experience in managing multi-million-pound sales pipelines and complex client relationships.
18. Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics, and reporting.
19. Comfortable operating at Board/Executive level and contributing to overall business strategy.
