Overview
Timetabling Coordinator role at Nottingham City Council, based at Nottingham City Libraries. Hybrid working. Part-time 18.5 hours per week pro rata. Salary: Grade D £26,824 - £27,694 per annum (pro-rata).
Job Purpose
Responsible for scheduling front-line staff across library sites, managing timetables, leave, absences, and ensuring staffing for events, training, and peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the scheduling of permanent and casual staff across all library sites.
* Manage absence reporting systems and provide swift cover solutions.
* Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to maintain volunteer timetables.
* Provide Saturday cover on a rota basis to manage absence calls.
* Communicate timetable changes effectively with staff and managers.
* Support volunteer recruitment and onboarding.
* Supervise and identify training needs for staff and volunteers.
* Ensure compliance with data protection, equality, and health & safety policies.
