An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 5A Haematology and Oncology for a Band 5 nurse to join our friendly, supportive, and caring team on a fixed term or secondment basis.
You will be working within a dynamic and established team who are passionate about giving the best care possible to people with a cancer diagnosis in the Highlands of Scotland. Ward 5A is the dedicated inpatient unit to deliver cancer treatments and managing oncology/haematology patient care. Palliative care is also provided within our ward.
This is an excellent opportunity for those with a keen interest in working within the haematology and oncology setting caring for patients having SACT and radiotherapy treatment.

Responsibilities
* Provide nursing care for patients undergoing haematology and oncology treatment, including SACT and radiotherapy.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
* Support palliative care and symptom management within Ward 5A.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered Nurse (Band 5) with appropriate registration.
* Interest in haematology and oncology nursing.
* Flexible, patient-centered approach and ability to work in a busy ward.
