We’re looking for a Data Quality Analyst to co-ordinate and contribute to the maintenance, evolvement and data quality of our internal data warehouse system submissions and the wider business data quality. This analytical role will be instrumental in delivering efficient processing, reporting and analysis of key data. What You’ll Be Doing Provide support across the department on data quality management projects & initiatives Support with internal and external audits, where warehouse data or other risk data is needed. Lead the delivery of warehouse data and be the main point of contact for any data quality points (both with HQ and local IT team) for any delivery delays and errors, working with all parties to ensure deliveries are made in good time. Monitor the data warehouse quality and identifying any underlying issues and investigating these issues right through to resolution. This may including fixes through changes to data logic or alternatively changing processes to ensure source systems are reporting the correct data. Lead on all data warehouse glossary updates, liaising directly with both local IT and HQ counterparts. Working with external consultants where required to lead them on larger projects concerning data quality or Finevare outputs/inputs. What You’ll Bring You’ll be an experienced individual with demonstrable experience working with large data sets with the ability to appreciate data quality and strong data discipline. You’ll have a keen eye for detail with the ability to take ownership of tasks. Essential Experience & Skills Knowledge of systems/products of VWFS (e.g. HP/PCP/Lease/Fleet) and/or VW Bank (New/Used/Demo/Loans) Investigative mind to identify issues and follow through to resolution of defects Comfortable with reviewing large/complex data sets and creating summaries of issues Relationship building - working with HQ Data Quality team, local IT developers, local Risk and Finance teams Expertise in the use of SQL, R and Python would be advantageous Knowledge of accounting standards, particularly IFRS 9 would be advantageous What’s in it for you?
