Milk Education Liverpool is looking for a compassionate and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with a range of special educational needs in a welcoming secondary school in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally.
About the Role
As an SEN LSA, you will:
1. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEND
2. Assist with personalised learning plans, EHCP targets, and tailored interventions
3. Support pupils with diverse needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and cognition & learning difficulties
4. Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
5. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
6. Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
UK school-based experience is essential for this role.
About You

7. Patient, understanding, and enthusiastic
8. Confident supporting students with additional needs
9. Skilled at building positive relationships with young people
10. Adaptable and proactive in a busy school setting
11. Experienced in a UK education environment (mandatory)
