We’re seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Chief Commercial Officer to join our talented team. This pivotal leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on a rapidly expanding, innovative company at the forefront of the autonomous vehicle revolution.
As CCO, you will define and execute our global commercial strategy to fuel ambitious revenue growth and market expansion. You will lead business development, sales, and marketing teams across defence and civil markets, ensuring our commercial direction is closely aligned with our technology roadmap and R&D-led commercialisation.
The role:
* Partner with the CEO to own the global growth strategy and annual Business Plan.
* Define market prioritisation across defence and civil sectors, setting the pricing strategy and commercial risk frameworks.
* Oversee competitor intelligence and market analysis to drive long-term strategic decision‑making.
* Lead “high‑stakes” capture for complex, transformational opportunities and global tenders.
* Identify and shape strategic alliances, partnerships, and international routes to market.
* Build and maintain C‑suite relationships with key global customers and stakeholders.
* Drive sales performance through a robust, disciplined pipeline—from early‑stage insight to final conversion.
* Ensure seamless alignment between Commercial, R&D, and Engineering to guarantee product‑market fit and smooth operational handovers.
* Assist in defining and driving global marketing and brand strategies that directly create and support commercial opportunities.
* Establish the global commercial governance framework, including contract standards, approval thresholds, and compliance.
* Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing BD, Sales, and Marketing teams across multiple geographies.
* Provide monthly commercial performance and KPI reporting to the CEO and Board.
What You’ll Bring:
* Executive‑level leadership in Commercial, BD or Sales within aerospace, defence, robotics, autonomy or advanced engineering.
* Experience scaling commercial operations across Europe and APAC.
* Strong commercial strategy, revenue growth and complex contract negotiation expertise.
* Proven leadership of cross‑functional commercial teams.
* Deep understanding of global defence markets, procurement, regulations and competition.
* Ability to partner with R&D and translate technical capability into commercial value.
* Exceptional strategic thinking with a high integrity and governance mindset.
* Outstanding communication, negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills at the most senior levels.
* Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with a collaborative, global mindset.
