Job Description
You will be based at Ancrum Outdoor Centre and assist the senior clerical assistant with day-to-day office administrative duties. Duties will include telephone and customer counter enquiries, public and private course bookings, cash handling and card transactions, equipment hire and servicing payments, providing statistics for the Centre Manager, and data input on various IT systems including procurement orders and the MRM online booking system. You will be required to support the wider Ancrum team in resource creation, marketing, and other administrative duties as needed. All necessary training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Requirements
Nat 4 in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification.
Responsibilities
You will be a friendly and approachable individual with a high degree of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality. Previous administrative experience in a similar office environment is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Office 365. You will assist the Senior Clerical Assistant with daily administrative functions, handle incoming enquiries from the public and organizations, and support the management team in creating and booking holiday adventure programmes via our online IT systems. You will manage petty cash and other financial transactions, process purchases through procurement systems, and undertake general administrative tasks such as photocopying and printing.
