The Deputy Headteacher (Curriculum) will assist the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral) to set and implement the strategic direction of the school. The successful post-holder will be expected to:
* Provide outstanding whole school leadership as raising standards leader;
* lead the improvement of the quality of education across the school, with a particular focus on curriculum planning and assessment;
* contribute significantly to the strategic management and operational activity of the school;
* ensure that all learners have the opportunity to reach the highest possible standards;
* deputise for the Headteacher, as required;
* work with the Governing Body and other stakeholders to ensure the school's vision is clearly articulated, shared, understood and translated into real and effective action by all.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational colleague with vision, drive and a proven track record of successful leadership to be Deputy Headteacher (Curriculum) in our school. The successful candidate will have experience of whole school leadership, successful leadership and teaching experience in raising learner achievement, and experience of leading whole school strategic change which raises standards of learning and learner experience.
