Head of People - Manufacturing - County Antrim MCS Group is proud to be working exclusively with a highly respected, award-winning manufacturing organisation based in County Antrim, seeking to appoint a Head of People on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a pivotal time for the business, which has experienced sustained growth in recent years and is entering an exciting new phase of strategic expansion. As such, they require a dynamic and experienced HR leader to evolve and drive forward their people strategy. The Role As Head of People, you will take full ownership of the HR function, working in close partnership with the senior leadership team to deliver a best-in-class people agenda across a multi-site workforce of over 500 employees, operating across several jurisdictions. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You will lead and mentor a small HR team, with scope to expand as the organisation continues to grow. You'll be instrumental in influencing organisational culture, aligning HR strategy with business goals, and ensuring operational excellence in all people-related matters. There is significant longer-term progression potential, with a clear pathway towards a future HR Director role as the team and function scale. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and execution of people strategies that support business objectives Partnering with leadership across functions to provide strategic and tactical HR support Managing end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, and talent pipelining Shaping and enhancing the organisation's employer brand and employee value proposition Supporting cultural change, engagement, and performance development across all sites The Person To succeed in this role, you will be a confident, forward-thinking HR leader with a strong track record in manufacturing or a similar fast-paced, complex environment.
