The role sits across the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy eHospital teams. The post holder is a senior member of the Pharmacy Cancer Leadership Team, providing strategic pharmacy leadership alongside advanced clinical and digital expertise to support the safe, effective and evidence based use of cancer medicines across Cambridge University Hospitals and the wider health system.
* Becoming certified in both Epic applications of Willow and Beacon to support the configuration, review and migration of chemotherapy protocols.
* Acting as the senior pharmacy lead for EPMA within Cancer Services, supporting accurate electronic prescribing, verification, administration and monitoring of cancer medicines across all Cancer services.
* Leading the development and optimisation of digital cancer medication workflows within the electronic health record, working closely with the Pharmacy eHospital & Informatics team, Cancer Services MDTs and Trust digital leads.
* Acting as an expert clinical resource for Cancer Pharmacy across the Trust.
* Providing advanced clinical pharmacy input, including prescribing, to allocated specialty/ward/clinic/patient groups, ensuring safe, effective and evidence based use of cancer medicines.
