Description
As the Finance Officer (Royalties), your main responsibilities will be:
* Manage the calculation and processing of royalty payments accurately and efficiently.
* Reconcile royalty accounts and address any discrepancies promptly.
* Prepare detailed financial reports related to royalties for internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within the accounting system.
* Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the efficiency of the finance team.
Profile
A successful Finance Officer (Royalties) should have:
* Proven experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the business services industry.
* Experience in working with royalties/commissions.
* Strong knowledge of financial processes and principles.
* Ability to work with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
