About Our Client
Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and outstanding invoices.
4. Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and proactively follow up on collections.
5. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally.
6. Communicate with stakeholders to address payment queries and disputes.
7. Prepare and send out regular financial reports related to credit control activities.
8. Collaborate with the finance team to improve credit control processes and systems.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.
10. Provide support in month-end and year-end financial reporting as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Strong numerical and analytical skills relevant to accounting and finance.
12. Proven experience in credit control role.
13. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
15. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
