Salary:?£43,654pa. 50 hours paid per week (10 hour minimum per shift)
Job description:
* Home delivery of furniture
* Working as a 2-man crew.
* Porter is required to make customer phone calls with ETAs and record deliveries.
* Deliveries are be made to the customers room of choice.
* All products MUST be scanned.
* Any parking issues at delivery MUST be called in to delivery support or to the
transport office, as long as there is a record you will not be liable for tickets.
* All vehicles are loaded overnight so will be ready for you in the morning, you will only be unloading at the delivery point.
* Good timekeeping is essential.
Start times:?05:30 06:30
Shifts can be up to 12 hours long, but your average hours would equate to a 48-hour week.
Induction process
* 1st day driving assessment.
* 2nd day safe system of work based in the classroom. All paid.
