Business & Incident Relationship Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group's Business Support team are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Business & Incident Relationship Manager to join a critical operational resilience function. This is an opportunity for an individual who performs at their best in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments and can confidently coordinate business‑wide responses to major incidents while engaging with senior stakeholders.
The Opportunity
As the Business & Incident Relationship Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation's response to significant operational events, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and decision‑making across multiple business functions. Working closely with operational, risk, technology, and leadership teams, you'll ensure disruption is minimised while maintaining focus on customers, colleagues, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the response to major business incidents and operational disruptions.
- Act as the central communication point during high‑severity events.
- Work collaboratively with Business Continuity, Risk, Technology, and Operational teams.
- Provide clear direction and escalation to senior leadership where required.
- Manage communications relating to customer and operational impact.
- Drive post‑incident reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce reporting and management information for key stakeholders.
- Support and develop an Incident Analyst within the team.
About You

- The ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Confidence influencing senior leaders and challenging where appropriate.
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities across multiple teams.
- Previous leadership or line management experience.

This role operates within a 24/7 service environment, with standard Monday‑Friday hours and participation in an on‑call rota (approximately 1 in every 6‑7 weeks).
