Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Team Manager within the Youth Violence Service to work Full Time based in Kensington & Chelsea. The salary for this permanent Team Manager role is up to £53,076 per annum. Main duties: To deliver effective daily management of the Youth Violence Reduction Service processes for referrals, safeguarding policies, information sharing, risk assessment and individual action plans to achieve outcomes for children affected by violence and exploitation. This is a specialist service, and the manager will supervise all direct case work, group and project work for children & young people. To ensure the Youth Violence Reduction Service adheres to the Community Safety incident protocol following a violet or serious incident. To be accountable to Community Safety Managers and make safety plans for families open to the service, alongside the wider community following a traumatic incident to reduce risk of harm and safeguard those directly affected. To put in place and annually review relevant safeguarding policies and information sharing approaches within the Youth Violence Reduction Service. Ensure safeguarding issues are identified and acted upon at the earliest opportunity. To develop and monitor outcomes for the Youth Violence Reduction Service, identifying performance challenges and mitigation approaches as required. To provide quarterly reporting on team performance to appropriate management boards including Safer K & C Partnership, Youth Crime Partnership Board & Violence Reduction Board. Lead stakeholder engagement activities to raise awareness and multi-agency collaboration, ensuring the Youth Violence Service is represented across all key community and statutory networks. To coordinate with this network to safeguard children, identify needs, share need to know information, assess and balance risk, safety and wellbeing. To provide monthly contact with parents and carers of children open to the Youth Violence Reduction Service. Act as managerial contact for families to ensure their wishes are reflected in casework practice and provide transparency to build trust, signposting to a range of services and offer group work and mediation where appropriate. To be responsible for all case work budgets and expenses within the team and ensure this meets the council's financial compliance of spending within budget, including employee expenses (in line with the council's financial regulations) are adhered to. Identify and deliver an annual action plan for specialist staff training so that Youth Violence Advocates can respond to high-levels of risk, complex causes of violence and achieve positive outcomes of children and young people. To put residents voices at the centre of Community Safety delivery through co-design of this service and consistently advocating resident voices and importance of the lived experiences of the children & families open to the Youth Violence Reduction Service. Promote the Council's Human Resources Policies & Equalities Standards and manage service delivery in a manner that is young-person centred, promotes equality of opportunity, collaborative working and in tackling barriers to support and opportunities which are faced by vulnerable and ethnically diverse children & communities.
