HW Finance are pleased to be working with a successful UK manufacturing business in South Yorkshire to recruit a Senior Accountant to look after the day-to-day of one of their main sites. About the role: This role sits within the Operational Finance function, and has ownership of one of the business’s main sites, responsible for end-to-end reporting. This is a hands-on and varied role, working closely with the Management team on site to support with decision making. Key Responsibilities: Business partner on site management team to support with strategic decision making Ownership of P&L for the site, including month end reporting, annual budgets and forecasting processes Identify risks and opportunities through financial analysis to achieve business unit targets Involved in costing initiatives and providing relevant analysis Performance reporting for both internal and external stakeholders Become a clear right hand person for the operational team About You: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Hands-on end to end reporting experience Strong business partner, and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels Ability to prioritise workload Commercial mindset to support strategic decision making Manufacturing/industrial experience What’s on offer: Competitive salary circa £60-70k (dependent on experience) package Senior Finance role with ownership of day to day finance for the site and exposure to senior stakeholders Opportunity to join a large business with strong development and progression prospects Hybrid working policy – manage your own working pattern
