Kings Hill Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built care facility set in one of Kent’s most thoughtfully designed modern villages. Opening in Spring 2026, the home has been created from the ground up to support 78 residents with a wide range of needs, including residential, dementia, nursing and respite care. Every aspect of the home reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional standards of safety, comfort and personalised support, enhanced by innovative technology and thoughtfully designed spaces. Situated in the heart of Kings Hill—a thriving community known for its green spaces, safe walkways and strong neighbourhood spirit—the home will be woven into village life. Light, bright and welcoming, the building has been designed to maximise natural light and views of the beautifully landscaped gardens, with spacious balconies providing calm outdoor areas for residents to enjoy. We are seeking to appoint a kind, organised and fun Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team. To deliver and support other staff in the running of activities and be an example of best practice to others who provide activities in the home, placing great value on social contact and companionship. Engage actively by engaging with the local community and fostering and developing meaningful relationships both in and out of the home. We have a 37.5 hours contract available with an hourly rate of £14.50! Shift times are 0900-1700, with alternate weekend working but we do require some flexibility in terms of hours worked to meet the needs of the business. Role Responsibilities: Create ongoing weekly activity programmes that ensurea wide range of opportunities areavailable to stimulate the physical,mentaland emotional wellbeing of all residents. Provide an innovative programme so that residents can achieve extraordinary things, within their capabilities. Coordinator staff to deliver activities, based on their personal skills and interests. Ensure a life story and Wellbeing and Activity plan is in place for each resident and that the planis regularly reviewed. Ensure adequate and up to date risk assessments are in place for all events and activities planned and undertaken. Provide supervision and coaching of the Wellbeing Assistant. Understand the needs of people with the various conditions residents have in the home. Take responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holderis responsible fororcomes into contact with. Skills and experience required: Experience of working with older people is essential. Experience of delivering an activity programme is essential. Evidence of the ability to assess, plan and evaluate the activity needs of older people is essential. The ability to work individually and in a team is essential. Good communicationand interpersonal skills are essential Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handleemergency situationseffectively. Be creative,imaginativeand enthusiastic and h ave the ability to forward plan.
