We are currently looking for an experienced Corporate Financial Planner to join our team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in providing clients with first class advice in line with the FCA regulations, ensuring a brilliant service. The successful candidate will inherit an existing client bank. Ability to work as part of a Team; collaborating with the local team including Paraplanners and Administrators; and across the wider business as appropriate. Detailed understanding of the advice process. Detailed understanding of financial planning. Detailed understanding of products and solutions to meet client needs. Up to date knowledge of the financial market place. Good understanding of regulatory requirements; including Consumer Duty requirements; GDPR; and anti-money laundering requirements. Job Responsibilities The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients Oversee scheme renewals, including pension and risk-based Deliver pension clinics to members Provide advice to members in respect of appropriate investment strategies and at retirement advice Working closely with a team of specialist corporate administrators. Research the marketplace for available products and services, identify clients’ needs, design financial strategies and gain commitment from clients to proceed with recommendations. Provide first class financial planning and advice to both existing and prospective clients. Ensuring all financial planning and advice is provided in line with the requirements of the FCA including focus on consumer duty requirements and ensuring compliance with all other relevant industry rules and regulations. Driving organic growth through generation of new corporate clients. Keeping abreast of new industry developments; and researching the market to ensure that knowledge is current. Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation. Ensuring compliance with all requirements of an FCA certified function holder. Ensuring CPD is completed on a rolling 12-month basis to the required standard and is sufficient and appropriate for the areas in which you are certified to provide advice and kept up to date at all times. Maintaining performance standards in accordance with Consumer Duty outcomes and those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures.
