Protocol Education is working alongside a specialist SEN school in Gateshead to recruit a dedicated teacher to support pupils with severe and complex learning needs, including autism. The role will include: • Planning and delivering personalised learning activities • Supporting communication and sensory development • Working collaboratively with support staff and therapists • Encouraging independence and emotional regulation The ideal candidate will have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • A genuine interest in SEN education Previous SEN experience is beneficial but not essential.
