Lecturer – Initial Teacher Education (Further Education & Skills)
Join us at Oldham College, part of University Campus Oldham (UCO), as we grow our Higher Education and Professional Development portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education (FE & Skills) to help shape the future of the post‑16 teaching workforce.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, research‑informed sessions across Levels 5, 6 and 7, supporting trainee teachers as they begin their journey into the Further Education and Skills sector.
* Bring expertise, creativity and a drive to deliver excellence – helping our trainees develop into confident, reflective practitioners who make a real impact.
About You
You will hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and a recognised teaching qualification, together with relevant experience in Initial Teacher Education (Further Education & Skills). You will have a strong commitment to supporting trainee teachers, a passion for professional learning, and the ability to inspire others to succeed.
