Overview
A well-regarded two-form entry primary school in Sale, Trafford, is seeking a talented and committed Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. The position will commence after the October half term and will run until the end of the academic year.
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will take responsibility for teaching a Year 5 class on Mondays and Tuesdays. Working closely alongside the parallel Year 5 teacher and wider staff team, they will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, while ensuring continuity and progression throughout the week.
* Strong classroom management, creativity, and a passion for supporting pupils as they prepare for upper Key Stage 2 will be key.
* The role also involves contributing to assessment and maintaining clear communication with colleagues and parents.
* Provide consistently high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
* Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a two-form entry setting.
* Demonstrate high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

* Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
