On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join their team in Larne.
Pay rate is £ per hour plus Holiday pay.
The position is part-time, temporary, ongoing - one day per week, Wednesday.

About the Job Role:
The client seeks staff to provide specialist disability support to young people requiring assistance during participation in the Skills for Life and Work, Training for Success, and/or Apprenticeships NI Programme.
This role also involves administrative duties to ensure records of support are accurate, completed, and submitted on time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide direct one-to-one and group-based disability support according to a scheduled plan.
* Support tutors by delivering appropriate disability-specific learning support.
* Assist the DSS Co-ordinator in monitoring and evidencing progress against set Performance Targets.
* Encourage and promote effective, learner-centered, independent learning strategies to boost participation, motivation, and self-esteem.
* Maintain accurate, timely records supporting ongoing monitoring and review, and report issues promptly to line management.
General Duties:
* Adhere to the Group's 'Code of Conduct', maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and quality standards.
* Comply with policies and procedures, including equal opportunities, health and safety, and data protection laws.
* Complete tasks diligently, attend training, and engage in professional development to maintain competency.
