Risk Manager
About the role
As a Risk Manager in the UK Risk Office, you will provide professional risk judgment that enables business partners to tackle major business challenges. You will develop and deploy innovative solutions to mitigate risks, and create and implement risk strategies that support the company's success. Your role involves analyzing complex data to support confident, data-driven decision-making in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders across various departments, including marketing, analytics, compliance, legal, and operational risk management, fostering a high level of exposure and influence across the business.
What you will do
1. Develop understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profiles.
2. Assess the impact of regulatory changes on business objectives and risk appetite using Enterprise Risk Assessments.
3. Analyze data to identify risks and trends, providing insights for decision-making.
4. Advise business partners on risk policies and programs.
5. Collaborate across risk, compliance, legal, and support functions.
6. Escalate risk issues and emerging risks to executive management.
7. Identify opportunities to improve risk management practices and customer experience.
8. Support process remediation efforts with compliance and legal teams.
9. Assist in audits and regulatory exams, including M&A activities.
10. Communicate risk topics effectively to stakeholders.

Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position based in Nottingham, with a hybrid work model. You will work from the Nottingham office three days a week (Tuesdays to Thursdays), with flexibility for remote work.
