Role Philosophy

As the Vice President of Ground Partnerships, you are the architect of Celebrated’s on-the-ground experience strategy, curating, optimizing, and scaling a portfolio that brings each destination to life. You lead the development and execution of a ground partner ecosystem that balances operational excellence with delight-driven discovery, ensuring every experience aligns with our brand promise of elevated, thoughtful travel.

This role is both strategic and deeply operational, blending partner relationship management with product innovation, internal enablement, and cross-functional collaboration. From building classification and pricing frameworks to introducing white-label offerings and developing training programs, you ensure that ground partnerships deliver consistent value to our clients, our internal teams, and our broader business goals. Your work is foundational in positioning Celebrated as a uniquely differentiated DMC in every market we serve.

Responsibilities

* Lead the development, optimization, and growth of ground partnerships, acting as the final point of escalation for all partner-related concerns.
* Owns the development and execution of the ground partner strategy, ensuring the right number and mix of partners in each geography. Curate a balanced portfolio of offerings from essential transfer services to high-demand experiences and rare, delight-driven activities.
* Lead internal training initiatives to ensure Travel Design Teams are confident and knowledgeable about ground partner offerings, with a clear understanding of which experiences delight the most, deliver the most value, and can command premium pricing.
* Collaborate closely with the Geographic Product Team to maintain a continuous feedback loop, ensuring alignment of regional needs and shared goals across the ground partnership strategy.
* Owns the classification framework for all ground partners—prioritizing relationship value to Celebrated and guiding itinerary teams on booking hierarchy.
* Establishes regular reviews with partners to align expectations, performance, and opportunities for improvement.
* Develops a productized framework for ground services—offering Standard, Premium, and Elite tiers for each experience type—to drive pricing consistency while preserving the bespoke feel of our itineraries. This approach enables faster turnaround, protects margin, and creates scalable, repeatable quoting across regions and teams, unlocking growth for both Celebrated and our partners.
* Establish fixed-rate pricing periods with ground partners and driver-guides to reduce one-off quote delays, enabling a faster proposal turnaround and helping our travel advisors win more business. Proactively manages seasonal pricing updates to ensure timely communication and consistency. As we win more business, revenue and profitability grow for everyone, our agents, our ground partners, and Celebrated.
* Performs other related duties and internal responsibilities as assigned; scope may evolve based on business needs and cannot be fully captured in a job description.
* Collaborate with the Hotel Partnerships team to design annual inspection and FAM trip strategies


Your Profile

* You are a strategic and relationship-driven leader who brings structure, creativity, and care to every partnership you manage.
* You have 8+ years of experience in partner strategy, product development, or operations, experience in luxury travel or hotel partnerships is an asset.
* You are commercially minded with a strong understanding of pricing, segmentation, and portfolio optimization.
* You have a proven ability to build and scale partner ecosystems—balancing operational needs with high-touch, experience-led service delivery.
* You are an effective communicator and collaborator, skilled at aligning internal teams and external partners around shared goals.
* You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing complex workflows and driving cross-functional execution.
* You are comfortable creating frameworks and tools that enable consistency and scalability without losing sight of bespoke excellence.
* You lead with humility and accountability, empowering others while upholding a high standard of performance.
