We are recruiting for a Factory Manager who will be responsible and accountable for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the Prepared Foods site, ensuring that site functions operate effectively and collaboratively to deliver high-quality food products safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
As Factory Manager you will provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve site objectives relating to safety, quality, cost, service, and people development, driving a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What you will be doing:
Oversee and manage site operations (including Technical, Hygiene and QA) and KPIs within the factory
Contribute and drive the development of the sites in order to achieve all objectives.
Delivering operational leadership
Review lead processes within to meet FEMAS, BRC, TFMS and other external and internal audit criteria, including CCPs, GMP, Complaints, Non-Conformances and Audit readiness.
Manage customer service level to business agreed targets
Manage resources to ensure optimum productivity with minimum downtime.

What we want from you:
While experience in produce is advantageous it is not essential however, food manufacturing experience is essential.
Proven track record in a management capacity, demonstrating the ability to drive improvements, generate savings, and foster growth.
A people-oriented management approach that prioritises employee development and engagement.
Strong planning skills coupled with the capacity to make well-informed, timely decisions supported by data.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and techniques, with the ability to effectively apply them in operational settings.
