CAD Technician - Doncaster - up to £40k plus development
An exciting opportunity to join an award winning team of engineers who specialise in the design and manufacture of agricultural machinery and MHE to a growing worldwide market. As CAD Technician, you will be involved in the full design process of new projects and instrumental in all aspects of new product development. Working on a variety of interesting new design projects this role offers an unrivalled chance for product variation and new technology design.
Responsibilities of the CAD include:
Producing high quality 3D AutoCAD technical drawings, advising on previous best designs to replicate and best methods to use for new designs.
Developing and maintaining bill of material (BOM) creation.
Supporting the development of new machinery.
Mechanical design trouble shooting on existing products.
The role of CAD Technician can be tailored to the experience of the successful candidate from a university leaver to an experienced technician, but the client will be looking for:
HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
Experience from within the engineering sector, ideally mechanical handling
For recently graduated, this might relate to project work rather than work experience
Skilled using CAD (Inventor), 2D and 3D

Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Thurs, finish at 4.30pm on Fridays
