B Title: Damp & Mould Surveyor – Housing Association Background
Are you an experienced Surveyor with a background in social housing, specialising in disrepair, damp, and mould surveys? Our client, a leading Building Maintenance and Facilities Management Company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team in London.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting damp and mould, surveys in social housing and local government properties.
* Assessing and diagnosing structural and environmental issues affecting properties.
* Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for remedial works.
* Liaising with tenants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with housing regulations.
* Supervising and coordinating remedial works where necessary.
* Ensuring all projects align with health and safety standards and legislative requirements.
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Experience with SOR coding.
* Proven experience conducting disrepair, damp, and mould surveys in social housing.
* Strong knowledge of Housing Association and Local Council requirements.
* Background in building pathology, defect analysis, and property maintenance.
* Ability to produce comprehensive reports and recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Driving licence and own vehicle for site visits.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
* Minimum of 40 hours per week.
* Pay: £300 per day.
