We're working with secondary schools across Corby who are seeking enthusiastic, confident individuals to take on full-time roles as Unqualified Teachers from September 2025. This is a great opportunity for graduates, school-based support staff, youth workers, or coaches who are exploring a career in education.
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering lessons planned by teaching staff, managing student behaviour, and supporting learners in a classroom environment. While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) isn't required, experience working with young people in some capacity is essential.
Your Role Will Include:
Leading lessons using resources provided by the school across KS3 and KS4
Creating a positive, well-managed classroom atmosphere
Encouraging student participation and engagement with learning
Offering guidance and support to students throughout the school day
Communicating effectively with teaching teams and reporting key observations
Ideal Candidates Will:
Have experience working with young people in education, youth work, sports coaching, or similar settings
Feel confident managing classroom routines and behaviour
Be strong communicators, approachable and adaptable
Show reliability, professionalism, and a genuine interest in supporting students
Be open to pursuing a career in teaching or gaining experience ahead of teacher training
