Senior Validation Engineer
Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Validation Engineer to join our Accelera team in Milton Keynes.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Defining and executing battery tests based on external standards and internal requirements and ensure equipment is available.
Specifying component builds for testing i.e. level of Instrumentation for standards and sub-system owner requirements
Liaises with and manages testing with external test houses, forms quotations, test plan reviews and completes test setup sign off
Responsible for component teardown and rebuilds post testing, working closely with the site operations team
Directly manages contracted engineers to execute the validation plan.
To be successful in this role you will need experience in the following:
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
Leading the validation for development of new high voltage battery packs and develop team testing capabilities. The role includes supporting product validation in UK, Europe and the US.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
There will be a need for travel within the UK in order to support product testing at external test houses, as well as rare travel abroad.
You will be rewarded with:
Up to £45,000 - dependent on experience
