The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and collaborating with multiple departments, including Commercial and Operations, to align business processes and strategies.The Demand Planner must be adept at managing complexities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptability. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise and business acumen to ensure that production capabilities meet or exceed demand forecasts.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed schedules to meet operational demands by planning material and forecasted demand to meet budget.Raise sales orders and upload into MRP after contract review.Raise and issue works orders as required by the delivery schedule.Expedite or defer orders as required in line with schedule / inventory changes.Facilitation problem resolutions with stakeholders to include Booking in/BOM/Demand/Invoice queries.Collaborate with department heads and team members to gather scheduling needs and prioritise tasks performing scenario planning when required.Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in priorities, employee availability, and unforeseen circumstances.Analyse scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
