Job Description
We’re working with a well-established B2B organisation that’s looking to hire a Junior Account Manager to support client relationships and develop new business opportunities across existing and prospective customers.
This role suits someone early in their sales or account management career who enjoys building relationships, working towards targets, and developing consultative selling skills in a structured, supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting the management of existing customer accounts and delivering high levels of customer service
* Proactively contacting prospects and customers to identify new sales opportunities
* Developing new business through cross-sell and up-sell activity
* Using a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
* Working towards agreed sales targets and KPIs with support and coaching
* Attending client meetings by phone, video and face-to-face to build and strengthen relationships
* Creating professional client communications and follow-ups
* Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and dialogue notes
* Assisting with the preparation of accurate quotes in line with pricing guidelines
* Taking part in ongoing sales training and applying learning in day-to-day activity
