Overview
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for Primary school Teaching Assistants for day-to-day roles in and around Scarborough. This is a temporary position with daily pay between £90-£100 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year). Applications are welcome from applicants who can work part time to full time, with at least 1 day's availability.
Role involves supporting KS1 and KS2 students at various schools in and around Scarborough, helping students with their needs. A large bank of resources is available and the school has a strong head of department, so planning requirements for this role will be minimal. The schools we work with have an excellent local reputation and we have positive feedback from candidates. Success in this role can lead to longer-term opportunities within the local area.
Responsibilities
* Support KS1 and KS2 students at multiple schools in and around Scarborough.
* Assist students with their individual needs and learning goals.
* Utilise available resources; minimal planning required due to support and resources provided.
* Contribute to a positive learning environment and healthy school community.
Qualifications
* Experience working within UK schools, specifically as a Teaching Assistant in Primary Schools.
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
* CV must cover full history.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
