In this role, you will play a key part in delivering environmental health and public protection services, contributing to the Council's corporate priorities and improving standards across the borough. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections of commercial premises and enforce environmental health legislation Investigate complaints, incidents, and complex cases Prepare reports, case files, and prosecution documentation Lead targeted operations and projects across areas such as: Health & Safety Food standards Infectious disease control Licensing enforcement Build strong partnerships with businesses and stakeholders to drive compliance Provide expert advice to businesses and the public Manage complex investigations through to resolution or prosecution Support, coach, and guide junior officers (PO3/PO4 levels) About You You will be a qualified Environmental Health professional with strong technical knowledge and enforcement experience.
